The hysteresis control technique with quasi constant switching frequency qpplied to the Boost converter
Abstract (Summary)
Power factor correction and reduced harmonic distortion are desirable features in AC/DC converters because the great amount of static converters connected to power systems affects power quality. Within this context, this work proposes the hysteresis control technique with almost constant switching frequency applied to single-phase AC/DC converters, which intends to combine the advantages of the conventional strategy and PWM control. In order to validate the theoretical assumptions, analytical and experimental results will be presented regarding the single-phase full-bridge converter and single-phase Boost converter.
