Contribuição de sistemas de informações contábeis que incluem conceitos de business intelligence na percepção de gestores

Abstract (Summary)
Organizations need that their managers be in sinergy with what hapens both in the internal and external environments of the company. In this sense one of the important organization value is information. Among the many kinds of information one that translates the language of business is the one that originates in the accounting information systems. These, associated to the concept of business intelligence, if well structured in the organization, can reduce the distance between the accountancy themes, its principles, rules and procedures, as they allow for better understanding andalignement with the needs of the people responsible for the management of business. This way, the aim of the work is to verify the contribution of the accounting information systems which include the business intelligence concept in the business management process in the perception of themanagers. The exploratory research was carried out through case study, through semi structured interviews with managers and observation of the proceures for generation and availability of management information, with a qualitative aproach. The conclusion is that that the use of conceptsand tools from business intelligence by the accounting information systems contribute to a better management of business in the perception of the managers. The research is fundamented in knowledges related to the line of Management and Control of the Post Graduation in Accounting Program at the Universidade Regional de Blumenau
