Satisfacción de los pacientes con la atención de enfermería postoperatoria en el Servicio de Cirugía del Hospital "Santa María del Socorro" de Ica, 2006

Abstract (Summary)
Investigation thesis: Satisfaction of the Patients with the Post-surgical Infirmary Attention in the Surgery Service of the “Santa María del Socorro” Hospital in Ica, 2006. It considers satisfaction as an important indicator of attention quality and fundamental basis to restate aspects for the better satisfaction in the post-surgical patient. Objective: to determine the satisfaction level of the patient with post-surgical attention in the surgery service of the “Santa María del Socorro” hospital in Ica. Material and Methods: The study was transversal descriptive. The sample was constituted by 145 post-surgical patients from 2 to 4 days. In the gothering of data a lickert scale questionnaire was used with 30 reagents and another scale to determine the attention of post-surgical infirmary. Results: The post-surgical patient in their majority was married women with an acceptable educational level. The post-surgical permanency for the most part was of 4 days (60.6%). The level of satisfaction in relation to necessities and expectations was partially satisfied with an average of 3.60 and 3.70 and in relation to perceptions it was satisfied with 4.12% of average.
