The influence of hydrothermal aging on the pore structure of silica is evaluated. Equipment is designed to investigate the pore structure by either nitrogen or cumulene sorption. The influence of temperature, process time and water content on the hydrothermal aging of silica is discussed. Der Einfluß der hydrothermalen Alterung auf die Porenstruktur von Kieselgelen wird untersucht. Meßapparaturen zur Untersuchung der Porenstruktur mit Stickstoff und Cumol als Adsorptiv werden entwickelt. Der Einfluß von Temperatur, Zeit und Wassergehalt auf die hydrothermale Alterung von Kieselgel wird diskutiert.
