Search for cosmic high energy neutrinos with the AMANDA-B10 detector
Abstract (Summary)
High energy neutrinos are a possible probe for cosmic acceleration mechanisms. Using data taken with the AMANDA-B10 detector in 1997 an upper limit of E^2 (d Phi / dE) < 1.0 * 10^-6 cm^-2 s^-1 sr^-1 GeV on the flux of cosmic neutrinos with energies between 5 TeV and 1 PeV was obtained.
