Os sentidos e significados do lazer na formação escolar na região de Xingó.
Abstract (Summary)
This paper is an interinstitutional proposal of net articulation for the development of the northeastern desert of Brazil in the area of Projeto Xingó. Its aim is identifying the relationships between leisure and the educational process, as well as discussing perspectives of the meanings of cultural contents of leisure as components of the teaching/learning process in the community in search of an education for leisure and through leisure. Different conceptions are presented trying to check the various ways of understanding leisure, the formation of the future worker, the way leisure is regarded by the school and its community and the role it plays in the well-being of the population.
