Os auditores no Brasil e a satisfação desses profissionais nas grandes empresas de auditoria

The objective of the work is to verify the situation of the auditors in the greatest audit companies in Brazil, as the academic formation as the time of profession, positions,motivations, satisfaction, remuneration, importance of the audit, the process of selection and plan of career. The present study is inserted in the line of Financial Accounting of the Post graduation on Accounting of the Regional University of Blumenau and it appeared in function of the fact that, although to be attributed an image of success to the professionals of audit in Brazil, the specific research was not found which showed the real situation of the auditor. The adopted methodology is based on descriptive research like take stock, with quantitative approach. The population includes the Big Four, that employ 6,800 auditors inBrazil. From 400 answered questionnaires sent it. There was the return of 132 answered ones, that it´s noticed the sample by sensitivity. The results of the research point out the professional profile of the searched auditors and their satisfaction in the exercise of the profession
