Numerical simulation of arterial blood flow.
Abstract (Summary)
The equations governing the flow of blood in a
nonlinear viscoelastic artery are formulated and solved
numerically with a finite difference technique. Flow
through branching arteries and the interaction between
the left ventricle and aorta are also considered.
