Licenses and Electronic Resource Management Systems: An Evaluation of Current Issues and Practices
Abstract (Summary)
Library professionals tasked with managing electronic resource license agreements, in the process of entering encoded licensing data into their electronic resource management systems (ERMS), or involved in developing services to support this process were consulted to provide a status report of electronic resource license management in academic libraries. Areas discussed include existing practices, challenges, support for and benefits of the process of entering license data into ERMS.
