Inheritance of antixenosis resistance of Lycopersicon pennellii (LA 716) and L. hisrsutum f. typicum (LA 1777) to Tuta absoluta
Aiming to study inheritance of resistance characters to Tuta absoluta populations F2 and backcrosses and parental generations were evaluted on crossings involving L. esculentum cv. Santa Clara x L. pennellii (LA 716) e L. esculentum cv.IPA-5 x L. hirsutum f. Typicum (LA 1777). The characteres number of eggs/leaf, number of small mines, number of big mines and total mines number were evaluted. Sub-collection of the tomato leaf miner that was obtained through the mixture of populations from the Uberlância (MG) and Santa Teresa (ES) was used in the infestation. The study of inheterance of resistance characters was accomplished by means of variances and averages alalysis (complete and addictive-dominabt model). Correlations of Pearson among characters were evaluted. LA 716 and La 1777 show antisenosis to tomato leaf miner. Complet and addictive- dominat models prove to be appropiate for the analysis of the results of number of small mines and total mines mumber in ?Santa Clara? x LA 716, and of the number of big mines in ?IPA-5? x LA 1777. There is partial dominance for higher number of eggs/leaf number of small mines, number of big mines and total mines number in crossing involving ?Santa Clara? x LA 716. There is partial dominance for smaller number of eggs/leaf and for higher number of big mines and overdominance for higher number of small mines and total mines number in crossing involving ?IPA-5? and La 1777. The addictive effect is important in the determination of resistance characters on populations from the crossing ?Santa Clara? x LA 716. Dominance and epistatics effects are important in the determination of resistance characters in populations from the crossing ?IPA-5? x xLA 1777. The selection for smaller number of eggs/leaf miner in populations that are derived of crossings ?Santa Clara? x LA 716 and ?IPA-5? x LA 1777. The total mines number as resistance character to tomato leaf leaf miner is important breeding programns that aim resistant variety on crossings involving ?Santa Clara? x LA 716.
