Information system and community of pratice: interrelated concepts observed a social incwusion case.
Abstract (Summary)
This thesis discusses the concepts of information and social inclusion. It analyses an empirical experience which occurred in the City of Salvador, Bahia characterized by concepts meaningful to social inclusion projects. As such, the work presents an organized theoreticalconceptual base while emphasizing the application of the Information Science in social projects instituted within the Third Sector. The methodology for elaboration of the research includes literary review, professional and academic discussions, documental analysis, empirical field research with testimony from former users of the project where it was sought to perceive, reinforce and explain the interrelationship of the concepts of Information Systems and Communitie of Practice as conductors of social inclusion. It reinforces concepts that consider information and the way in which it is distributed to guarantee the efficiency of these proposals within Third Sector organizations.
