This article researches the implementation of a case and workflow system called Platina at the County Administrative Board in Västerbotten County. Problems with the implementation were identified through interviews and observations with employees. The empiric studies showed that the County Administrative Board did not get a fully functional system, but in fact a system that demands continued development to meet the expected demands. There is also a risk that the development of the system will be aborted due to organizational changes.
