HPV-RELATED STIGMA
Abstract (Summary)
Abstract We developed a scale to measure HPV-related stigma and assessed its psychometric characteristics in a sample of female adolescents. Participants generally considered HPV to be stigmatizing, and HPV-related stigma was associated with race, gynecologic history, psychosocial and behavioral constructs. Utilization of this scale may further our understanding of HPV stigma.
