Governance structure and Empresarial Strategic: the case electric maintenance of COELBA.
Abstract (Summary)
The privatization of Brazilian Electric Sector (BES) changed completely its productivestructure and redefined the responsibility of the state and transfers to private initiative theprerogative of investment, administration and coordination of the national electric system.This Work shows the changes that have been done in BES after the process of privatizationreferring the strategic reorientation of the regional electricity Company in the State of theBahia (COELBA) in relation the governance structure of your electric maintenance. This way,the target of this works to get the mean motivations change and influences the newinstitutional environment. This work was based in transaction cost theory, supported bycontribution of Williamson that in his last analysis served of paradigm that these to indicatethe directions possible and grow limit of the company.
