The Gas Chromatography of the Essential Oils of Some Trees
Abstract (Summary)
Gas chromatography is a variation of column chromatography in
which a gas is used for elution. The separations achieved depend
either on absorption or on partition between the gas phase and a
non-mobile liquid column packing known as the stationary phase. The
technique can be used as a means of identification or as a semi-micro
preparative method.
