Fundador versus sucessor: estudo comparativo das características comportamentais empreendedoras dos empresários de empresas familiares do município de Chapecó-SC

Abstract (Summary)
The emphasis in scientific studies with the intention of knowing the phenomenon of the empreendedorismo is growing along the last decades in an accelerated way. The process of family succession is the result of the empreendedorismo well happened. With the intention of understanding,to facilitate and auxiliary the process of family succession this work intends to identify the characteristics comportamentais of the entrepreneur founder and his/her successor, with focus delimited in those individuals performance in family companies. The research is evaluated the chosen successor of a family enterprise possesses Características Comportamentais Empreendedoras (CCE s) similar to his/her predecessor, and if the successor presents characteristics similar comportamentais to the entrepreneur founder. The research is quantitative descriptive, applied in the founders andsuccessors of 150 family companies in the municipal district of Chapecó, State of Santa Catarina. Theaccomplished study verified the incidence of CCE s in the entrepreneurs founders and successors in all of the companies of the sample, with enterprising profile above 15 points. CCE s that you/they presented the largest indexes were: the establishment of goals (Goals), with 21 points appeared like most present EEC for both subjects interviewees and present in the individual analyses; search of information (Infos), with an index of 19 points; quality demand and efficiency (Qualidad), with 19points, and calculated Risks (Risks), with the index of 19 points. It is ended that the entrepreneurs founders and successors of the family companies of Chapecó, with more than ten years of foundation, are classified in the enterprising profile described by McClelland and they present similar CCE s, standing out that the successors, according to the scale of McClelland are more enterprising than the founders
