En kartläggning av det digitala kommunikationsbehovet mellan polska och svenska konstruktörer i ett multinationellt företag

Llentab AB in Kungshamn, Sweden, has considered changing their technical solution for communication between the offices in Poland and Sweden. That is the reason why the purpose of this survey was to find out what communication needs there was between the engineers at Llentab. Our task was to examine and map needs that the engineers had when they were communicating over Llentab´s network. The aspects we considered were security, user friendliness and functionality. The survey contained an interview with a key person, which was used as a foundation for our questionnaire. Our selection contained all the engineers at Llentab´s office in Poland and Sweden, because altogether were they only 30 persons. The discussion of this survey was based on the results from the questionnaire. We found out that there were some problems with the dialup-connection and the login phase. We believe that the problems are based on technical issues rather than lack of user friendliness. The result also showed that there was interests of increase the security of the communication for example encrypt the information. The most common way to exchange information was to login to the network or more correct, the server in Kungshamn. The survey also showed that more traditional ways were used to communicate such as telephone and mail. We also asked a question where we wanted to know if there was any interest of doing that kind of tasks over the network instead, if it was possible. The result showed that the majority was negative to such solution in the future.
