The Changing FDLP
Abstract (Summary)
The Government Printing Office (GPO) has a new vision of disseminating electronic information which means that depository libraries are no longer receiving the large amounts of tangible documents which made participation in the Federal Depository Library Program beneficial. Libraries remaining in the program will have to be advocates for those still disadvantaged by the digital divide and ensure that the GPO follows through to create a system for permanent public access.
