Resum Anglès: This PhD thesis focuses on the study of the cultural practices and emergent models of filmmaking and distribution through the Internet. I emphasize the relevance of those cases based in the participation of communities in the production processes and an open approach to copyright, leading to a greater commitment of users. I stand that these practices, which oscillate between the legitimation of forms of appropriation and remix to the effective integration of audiences into the production processes, challenge traditional assumptions regarding industrial practices and the role of the Internet in relation to media creation. This thesis is based, methodologically, in a comparative approach to three paradigmatic cases from the perspective of the theories of practice.
