Includes a brief introduction to Modernism, especially fellow writer James Joyce and Beckett’s debt to him; a discussion of the Rare Book Collection’s collection development strategy, including its Grove Press material; a bibliography of the Beckett titles spanning the years 1930-51; and a report of conclusions with a desiderata list.
