Att motivera och inspirera till utvecklingsarbete med hjälp av goda exempel
Abstract (Summary)
How do you manage to create the right conditions for the municipal administrations in
Brynäs, Gävle, to use each others good examples in developing their work procedures
considering influence, participation, equality between the sexes and diversity? This study
has, with interviews, surveyed good examples in the different administrations. The good
examples have then been spread to all administrations for knowledge. The good examples
have mainly considered influence and participation. Very few efforts have been made
considering equality between the sexes and diversity, mainly due to lack of reflection of
the matter and lack of insight of the problem or. A questionnaire was used to find out how
well spread the good examples were in the administrations. The questionnaire showed that
slightly less than half of the respondents had taken part of the good examples, but there
were no signs of that the administrations had start to use any of the good examples.

One conclusion is that it is important to have problem insight to be motivated to change.
By showing what does not work satisfyingly through education, leading an open discussion
about improvements and clarify why one ought to develop the work procedures, would
increase the motivation to change. If the management supports the good examples, and
reward those who learn from others, that would promote to create a work environment
where it is natural to point out the positive examples and learn from each other.
